Smart Credits and Attendance

The attendance policy for appeals has changed!  Please read carefully:

“Students will be required to have all missing assignments completed, a passing grade in the course, and a 70 or higher on a final exam to receive credit for any course with more than 6 absences.  Any absence, excused or unexcused, beyond 6 requires students to meet the WCS Attendance Policy 4400” (Wilkes Central 2017-2018 Student Handbook). This policy is a countywide initiative!

**I will hold you to this policy!  No work is exempted as I have chosen assignments that provide a foundation for future learning!**

Students who are making an 80 or above will no longer be responsible for accruing Smart Credits, however, if his/her average drops below an 80 at any time during the semester, he/she will need to attend a Smart Lunch session with the teacher in whose class he/she is struggling.  I tutor on Tuesdays during B Lunch and Thursdays during A Lunch.  Study Hall is on announced Wednesdays.
