Ways to Send a Transcript

1. Send it yourself --  If you are applying to a college in NC you can use CFNC to apply and request transcripts.  If you don't know your CFNC login, your counselor can retrieve it for you and help you reset your password.  Even if you have a applied to a college using a direct link on their website, it's really easy to request your transcripts in the application hub on CFNC.org.  CFNC immediately sends your transcript electronically to the NC college of your choice.

2.  Submit a request - WCHS Transcript Request form

*Current WCHS students can request official or unofficial transcripts from your school counselor and past graduates can go to the link below*

When you submit a request through the WCHS Transcript Request form, a notification is sent to the counselors and the data manager who will process the request.

Some colleges are using SEND.edu for transcripts.  Those applications will ask you to print out a form  to take to your counselor when you complete the application.  You do not need to print the form, but you must include the pin number from that form when you submit your transcript request.

If you have used the Common Application to apply to college, your transcript will be sent electronically through the Common App portal.

If you  need a paper transcript sent to an out of state school or scholarship program, please indicate that on the request form with the complete address of the destination.

Most importantly, be sure you are using the correct email address for your counselor and your teacher recommenders so that they receive the electronic notices to upload recommendations and transcripts.

Wilkes Community College Transcripts

If you have taken courses at WCC while in high school, you will also need to send a transcript from WCC to the colleges you are applying.  You can do this online through your WCC prowler or the Wilkes Community College transcript request page. The cost is $3 for each transcript sent and can be paid by debit or credit through the online request form.  Alternatively, you can go to campus to the registrars office to pay in cash.
Graduates / Alumni

Following graduation, a final transcript will be sent to the destination that the graduate indicates on the Graduation Exit Survey.  Students who have been out of school for more than six months, must request transcripts through Wilkes County Schools Central Services available online at:  https://wilkesnc.scriborder.com/application
