in a world that's rapidly changing Wilkes Central High School's pass present successes are a tribute to their ability to react to the Times Square there's lots of opportunities for students we are about to celebrate over 30 years of a rich history of Excellence with his Athletics or academics opportunities for a kids here at the central district is No Lack buy in for everything that goes on here it's not one-sided is not athletic it's not Arts it's every piece is vital to one of the other but if you want to see that the educational purposes are are always at the peak that's what kids are really going to have to fall back on lower big in the classrooms as well who make sure we get our academics up as well as behavior and spirits one every student has a laptop here and Wilkes County has made it a priority to make sure that students have access to technology and our teachers are working very hard to make sure the integrated that is just not a lot thought they carry around every teacher that I've ever had though asked about what I do inside and outside of school and they're just be kind and they really work with you  academic achievement is expected in the classroom at Wilkes Central but with their traditional some work ethic success is also achieved outside the classroom as well this past year we won the state championship with the basketball team and that was amazing we played in Chapel Hill in the dean dome for Archer music band and art numerous numerous things go on here that really good unseen what's the student when you walk through the doors for the first time you realize something very important the eagle nation is a group of people that care about you family were always together a family pretty much work Central is it's just very welcoming Nets is pretty simple you want to provide the best academic experience and we look at that is not just being what happens in the classroom we look at that being as what happens in and outside classroom weather is that Athletic Field maybe it's the club experience maybe it's that one on one relationship with a teacher our goal is to be recognized as a lead within the state of North Carolina as providing an outstanding education for all the students at Wilkes Central
