Trespassing
SCHOOL VISITATION, LOITERING, AND TRESPASSING
Visiting Other WCS Schools
No student shall be on the campus of another school in the Wilkes County Public School System any hours before and/or after school **without the knowledge and consent of the officials of the school he/she is visiting.**
Post-Dismissal Conduct (Loitering)
Students are encouraged to leave campus as quickly as possible after the dismissal bell.
Students who **loiter** at school after the close of the school day without specific need or who are not under the supervision of school personnel will be considered **trespassers** and may be **prosecuted** if they do not leave when instructed to do so.
Trespassing While Suspended
Any student who has been **suspended from school** may be considered **trespassing** if he/she appears on school property during the suspension period without the **express permission of the principal.**
